Teenage nightmare Dawn Davenport storms out when denied Christmas cha-cha heels, embarking on an outrageous journey fueled by fame and egomania, leading to pregnancy, crime sprees, and a bizarre art experiment in this John Waters classic

Dawn Davenport is a teenage nightmare – a spoiled brat who throws a tantrum when her parents refuse to buy her some much sought-after cha-cha heels for Christmas. Storming out of her family home, Dawn runs away and begins an epic adventure driven by her hunger for fame and unchecked egomaniacal impulses.

Along the way, she’ll fall pregnant whilst hitchhiking and conduct a crime spree as part of a strange art experiment. Waiting for Dawn at the end of the line is an unexpected final performance in the role of a lifetime...
